Transfer to Colombo, the business capital of Sri Lanka. In the evening do a city tour covering Independence Square, business district, galleries, temples. Enjoy the evening sunset in beach front Galle Face Green.
Day 2 & 3
Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route to Dambulla. One of its kind in the world, won’t get a better chance elsewhere to see a large no of elephants at a place and very close to you.
Dambulla rock temple, a UNESCO Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The temple complex consists of five caves with painted walls and ceilings.
The Sigiriya rock fortress is a UNESCO Heritage Site, the palace of 5th century King Kasyapa. The lion shaped rock situated in a fortified area surrounding a water ring, trench and a rampart. And famous for the world-renowned frescoes of the Sigiriya ” Maidens of the Clouds”.

Day 4 & 5
Kandy is the last capital of the Kings before British took control of the entire country in 1815. The sacred city is a UNESCO Heritage Site, home to the sacred tooth relic “Sri Dalada Maligawa”. Visit the temple and thereafter watch the cultural show in the evening. Do a city tour, drive around the lake, visit bazar, handicraft and gem lapidaries.
Your next stop is a tropical spice garden. You will be introduced to whole lot of spices Sri Lanka is famous for, learn how the spice are grown and processing.
Day 6 & 7
Visit a Tea Plantation en route to Nuwara Eliya. Walk through the lush green tea plants, chat with tea pluckers. Visit to the tea factory and get to know how Pure Ceylon Tea is made, taste a cuppa at the site. Nuwara Eliya along with Hatton produce largest share of the world’s best Pure Ceylon Tea.
Take short treks to the waterfalls and valleys around the hill country. Trekking to Horton Plains Park is optional.
Day 8 & 9
Take the most exciting way to reach Ella, train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella is arguably one of the most scenic train journey in the world. Ella is famous for hill country misty mountain trekking, Little Adams Peak, Lipton Seat not to be missed.
Day 10 – 13
Check in to the beach resort, you don’t need an invitation to soak yourself in the sun, take a dip in the sea or relax in the beach. If you are a watersport enthusiast there’s many activities to do, boat ride, jet skiing or surfing.
After breakfast according to your departure time you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
