Visa to Sri Lanka

To visit to Sri Lanka travelers should obtain a visa, visas can be applied online or on arrival at the Colombo airport. Passport holders of Singapore, Maldives and Seychelles are exempted from the requirement of obtaining ETA to visit Sri Lanka

Online Visa Application

ETAApplying visa online is the preferred and easiest, no need for queuing up at the arrival visa counter. Apply for Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) well advance of your arrival, passport holders of Singapore, Maldives and Seychelles are exempted from the requirement of obtaining ETA to visit Sri Lanka.

The ETA is initially limited to 30 days validity from the date of arrival although it may be extended for up to six months.

The ETA is issued  online, no passport copies, documents, or photographs are required and no requirement to endorse the ETA on the passport.

Upon arrival please produce your passport to the immigration officer at the airport to obtain the necessary clearance. It is advisable to bring a copy of the ETA approval notice along with you.
